Room 9's Instruction Writing

We have come to end of our instructional writing unit. We now know how to write detailed instructions to follow if we want to teach someone how to do, make, bake, or cook something!

To finish with, we decided to write some really funny instructions. What crazy things the people of Room 9 came up with! Here are some short examples of some funny instructions we wrote!

How to make Mr Wyllie Angry

This is how to make Mr Wyllie angry. You will like it, he gets really angry and it is so funny! Follow these instructions and they will teach you how to make him very angry.

You will need:

10 silly bands

Ruler

7 Soccer cards

1. Firstly get the silly bands.

2. Secondly get the 7 soccer cards.

3. Thirdly go down to the carpet and start fiddling non-stop with them.

4. Then Mr Wyllie will get angry and he will send you to your desk.

5. Next, get the ruler and start whacking it on your desk.

6. Finally he will say "You're benched!"

How to make Pirana Cake

This is how you you make lots of monster parties every night. In about 10 seconds there will be no sign of any crumbs from the cake. My brother loves this cake and his wish is to have a place where everything is made of pirana cake!

You will need:

Ten Piranas

Three eggs

A pound of flour

The worlds biggest spoon

A wrestling man

Sugar

Pot

Oven

Step 1. Firstly, pour half of the flour in the pot and give the rest to the wrestling man.

Step 2. Secondly, put in a pinch of sugar.

Step 3. Thirdly, Place the piranas in and stir.

Step 4. Then, drop all the sugar into the pirana mix.

Step 5. After, open the eggs and pour them into the piranas mouths.

Step 6. Finally, carefully place the pirana mix in the oven and heat them until cooked.

Serve and enjoy!

How to Catch an Angry Dad

If your dad is red with anger you should really get going on this before he catches you. This is going to be really fun to make especially when he's caught. These instructions will tell you how to catch your dad. Catch and enjoy!

What you need:

A strong rope.

A climbable roof.

A net/box/cage

1. First take your stuff to the roof.

2. Secondly tie the rope to the cage.

3. Now get your mum to take your dad outside and when they get to the door, let go of the trap.

4. Then get down and say that you'll only let them out if they give you $40.

5. Take the $40 and spend it or put it into your savings.

How to make Slug Stew

This is how to make slug stew to get rid of your cold.

You will need:

18 slugs

A bottle

1 cup of water

2 horse poos

Spoon

Cats blood

A pencil

5 teeth

1. Firstly, pour the water into the bottle.

2. Secondly, put the pencil into the water very carefully.

3. Thirdly, put the horse poo into the bottle but be careful not to get it on you!

4. Next, put the cats blood into the bottle.

5. Then put the teeth into the bottle.

6. Lastly, put the slugs into the bottle and stir.

Drink and enjoy!!
